Finance Manager – Southern Europe

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Southern Europe Finance team based in Vimercate, Italy. The role is hybrid, with one day per week in the office and the remainder remote, and offers the opportunity to influence financial performance across multiple well‑known brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month‑end close process, delivering timely and accurate results with variance analysis and commentary.
• Drive monthly forecasting, quarterly reviews, strategic planning and budgeting for Southern Europe across all P&L elements.
• Own SG&A spend and forecasting, focusing on Compensation & Benefits, Marketing and Investment expenditures.
• Develop customer P&L statements and partner with local finance and sales teams to support profitable regional growth.
• Provide senior management with in‑depth analysis of historical and forecasted trends, supporting scenario planning.
• Recommend financial actions aligned with business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Lead the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) process for the region.
• Prepare and deliver clear, impactful financial presentations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with commercial and finance stakeholders to track strategic initiatives and support cross‑functional projects.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives in partnership with the Center of Excellence.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or an MBA equivalent; professional certifications are a plus.
• Strong experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and business planning within a dynamic multinational environment, preferably FMCG.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with enterprise systems and analytical tools such as SAP, EPM and Power BI.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence senior decision‑makers.
• Fluency in Italian and English required; Spanish and Greek are considered a plus.
