Financial Analyst (EMEA Controllership)

About the role

The EMEA Financial Analyst will join Tennant Company's Europe Controllership team in Portogruaro, Italy. This position supports the monthly financial close, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and audit processes while contributing to continuous‑improvement projects in financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, including accruals, intercompany, payroll, and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Execute balance‑sheet account reconciliations and flux analysis using Onestream.
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and notes under local GAAP.
• Maintain a robust control environment under the EMEA Controller’s leadership.
• Support US GAAP and statutory audits and provide backup for team members during absences.
• Participate in or lead continuous‑improvement projects related to reporting and controllership.

Required profile

• High school diploma in Accounting (Ragioneria) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong English proficiency and ability to work in a diverse, changing environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4.
• Proficiency in Onestream for reconciliations and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and solid Microsoft Office knowledge.
