Financial Business Controller

About the role

The Business Financial Controller will act as a strategic partner to the subsidiary’s executives, overseeing economic management, optimizing financial performance, and supporting the definition of overall strategy. The role ensures consistency of methods, compliance with group rules, and the application of the Golden Rules within the subsidiary.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in setting objectives and forecasts, and prepare a reliable annual budget.
• Conduct financial and economic studies to anticipate results and provide decision‑support information.
• Monitor P&L performance, analyze deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop reporting procedures, dashboards, controls, and key indicators; ensure their effectiveness.
• Produce and analyse project margins and gross margin according to group definitions.
• Lead monthly fixed‑price review meetings with technical management and project managers.
• Manage the monthly closing calendar and deliver timely group reporting, including operational, financial, cash, and business indicators.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and ensure accurate monthly financial data.
