Financial Controller – EU Regional Office (Milan)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead the EU regional finance function from our Milan office. The role will ensure accurate statutory filings, robust accounting processes and support the company’s growth across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate statutory filings related to tax, audit, accounting and local compliance.
• Manage all financial activities for the EU regional office, including daily accounting operations, monthly closing and reconciliations.
• Ensure accounting transactions are performed accurately and timely.
• Oversee balance‑sheet item reconciliations such as VAT, bank accounts and payroll.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external parties within the EU Finance department.
• Update, optimise and maintain administrative‑financial processes and procedures in line with internal controlling.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of full‑set accounting experience, preferably with international trading exposure.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Good knowledge of tax legislation and general accounting within local financial systems.
• Proactive, organised, team‑player with solid problem‑solving abilities.
