Financial Controller – Finance Business Partner

About the role

Chiesi is seeking a Financial Controller to act as the Finance Business Partner for the Core Markets Business Unit within the International Division. You will support management in strategic decision‑making and ensure robust financial governance across 36 markets spanning Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring compliance with global financial and accounting policies.
• Develop and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting packages.
• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities and contribute to long‑term plans.
• Review monthly results by product and geography, track KPIs, interpret data and identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with global functions and local departments to manage controlling activities and analysis.
• Participate in global and local cross‑functional projects.
• Partner with commercial teams to provide financial insight for business cases, new contracts, pricing decisions and product launches.
• Assist in assessing local processes and driving improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance or controlling, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Experience supporting month‑end/year‑end close and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to coordinate budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Analytical mindset with capability to interpret KPI data and identify business risks.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with global functions, local teams and commercial partners.
