Financial Controller – Italy

About the role

The Italy Controller will act as the primary finance leader for PepsiCo in Italy, ensuring compliance with US‑GAAP, Italian accounting standards and PepsiCo’s global policies. This role provides on‑the‑ground expertise for financial reporting, inventory control, accounts receivable and audit coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements (balance sheet, P&L) and group reporting packages in line with US‑GAAP and PepsiCo standards.
• Maintain and monitor inventory controls, cylinder management and AR processes to meet local regulations and group best practices.
• Lead corporate and statutory audits, collaborate on tax audits and support risk‑management activities.
• Drive accounting and financial reporting projects, assessing impacts of business initiatives on processes and systems.
• Partner with internal finance functions (Control, Tax, Treasury) and act as the central contact for sales and accounts receivable.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of US‑GAAP and Italian accounting regulations.
• Proven experience in monthly financial reporting and consolidation.
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to guide cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
