Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented professional to support Globeducate Italy’s Group finance department. The role requires deep expertise in IFRS and Italian GAAP, strong financial‑statement closing capabilities, critical data analysis and budget control, and the ability to translate figures into actionable insights for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and execute monthly and annual financial closings with accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead budget and forecast preparation for the group.
• Analyse financial data and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain robust internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise financial processes.

Required profile

• Strong critical‑analysis skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and management control.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas and data modelling.
• Problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• High level of English.
