Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join the Reporting and Controlling team of a multinational manufacturing group. Reporting to the Group Reporting and Accounting Manager, you will support both reporting and controlling functions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Drive inventory valuation accuracy and enhance cost‑controlling analyses for the Operations team.
• Analyze inventory movements and identify trends in the manufacturing environment.
• Lead the monthly closing process, preparing and reviewing adjustment journal entries.
• Calculate warranty provisions based on cost analysis.
• Support group‑wide financial processes, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidation entries.
• Assist with budgeting, monthly actual vs. budget analysis, and yearly statutory financial statement preparation (stand‑alone and consolidated).
• Develop new controlling analyses, such as R&D project tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Accounting.
• 2‑4 years of progressive accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Problem‑solving mindset and adaptability to changing situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with international, cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC).
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Fluent English communication.
