Financial Controller (Manufacturing)

About the role

The Financial Controller will join the Industrial Controlling team at Ingersoll Rand’s Vignate plant, supporting a high‑mix manufacturing environment. This hands‑on position bridges accounting execution with deep financial analysis to drive smarter operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate month‑end close in SAP FI/CO and COPA, supervising shared‑service resources in Brno.
• Validate expenses, cost allocations, accruals, reserves, and inventory adjustments across cost and profit centres.
• Perform cost and variance analysis for material, labour and overhead, providing actionable insights to plant management.
• Maintain GL integrity, oversee recharges, debit/credit notes, and support the AP shared service centre with proper coding.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and operational reporting tied to production performance.
• Assist with direct and indirect tax compliance and related reporting.

Required profile

• Strong accounting fundamentals with experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven analytical capability and ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
• Comfortable working in a plant environment and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
