Financial Director

About the role

The Financial Director will lead the finance function of Sany Italy’s subsidiary, shaping tax strategy and ensuring compliance with Italian regulations and Group standards. This senior position oversees a multicultural finance team and acts as the key liaison with headquarters, auditors, and local authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and internal controls.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning in line with Italian tax law and EU requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop a finance team of 5‑6 members across different cultures.
• Coordinate with Group headquarters, external auditors, tax authorities, banks and legal advisors.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly and yearly closings and financial statements compliant with local GAAP and Group policies.
• Monitor financial risks, drive cost‑efficiency initiatives and support business decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• CPA or ACCA certification strongly preferred.
• At least 5 years of finance management experience, with 2 years of hands‑on work in Italy.
• Fluent English; Italian language is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams and communicate across cultures.
