Food & Beverage Buyer – Global Sourcing

About the role

The Food & Beverage Buyer will support the global sourcing function by implementing strategic purchasing actions that optimise cost, quality and service. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure a reliable supply of food and beverage products for our operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure food and beverage items in line with company targets and compliance guidelines.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers, negotiating terms, rates and service levels.
• Analyse quotations, verify product specifications and evaluate market trends to propose innovative solutions.
• Produce analytics reports and keep accurate procurement records.
• Collaborate with logistics and supply teams to secure the best procurement agreements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in food‑service procurement, preferably in the cruise or hospitality sector.
• Degree in Economics, Gastronomic Sciences, Procurement Management, Business Management (a master’s in food & beverage management is a plus).
• Legal right to work in Italy and willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of food strategic sourcing and market trends.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with procurement e‑platforms (experience with Crunchtime is an advantage).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.

What we offer

• Gross annual salary between €30,000 and €40,000, based on experience.
