Front Desk Check‑In Specialist – Florence

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Front Desk Check‑In Specialist to join our boutique tour operator in the heart of Florence. The role is full‑time, on‑site and involves welcoming international visitors, managing bookings and ensuring a smooth start to their travel experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily front‑desk operations, including check‑ins, enquiries and ticketing.
• Manage tour and activity bookings through OTA platforms such as GetYourGuide, Viator and Headout.
• Use Rezdy or a similar booking management system to coordinate schedules and inventory.
• Maintain accurate records in Google Workspace, CRM tools and other booking software.
• Promote additional tours and upsell experiences to guests.
• Provide exceptional customer service in English, and optionally in Italian or other languages.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in the tourism or travel industry.
• Based in Florence or nearby with a valid work permit for Italy.
• Professional appearance and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Highly organized, proactive and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with OTA platforms (GetYourGuide, Viator, Headout).
• Proficiency in Rezdy or comparable tour‑booking systems.
• Strong command of Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and booking software.
