About the role
Capco is looking for a Front‑end Developer to join its fast‑growing Italian consulting team. You will help financial‑services clients modernise their platforms by building cloud‑based, responsive web applications using the latest JavaScript technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain front‑end features for banking and finance projects.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high‑quality code.
- Implement responsive layouts using CSS frameworks and modern layout techniques.
- Integrate authentication and security standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect and JWT.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging and performance optimisation.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments.
Required profile
- Strong team player with a passion for delivering first‑class cloud solutions.
- Experience coaching or mentoring junior developers.
- Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
Required skills
- JavaScript / TypeScript (ES5, ES6, ES2017)
- React (preferred) or Angular, Vue, Svelte
- CSS, SASS/LESS, Bootstrap, Semantic UI, Material UI, CSS Grid, Flexbox
- State management (Redux, Flux, MobX)
- Webpack (or Grunt), task runners
- Testing frameworks (Mocha, Jasmine, Chai, Jest, Enzyme)
- OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS, encryption basics
- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of cloud concepts and asynchronous request handling (AJAX)
