Front Office Receptionist

About the role

We are a leading Florence‑based tour operator looking for a Front Office Receptionist to join our international operations team. The role is office‑based and involves coordinating daily tour operations, managing reservations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences for travelers from around the world.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tour operations, bookings, guides, transportation providers and local suppliers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for travelers before, during and after their tours, handling inquiries and issues.
• Manage product listings on OTAs such as GetYourGuide, Viator and Headout, monitoring availability, pricing and performance.
• Use Rezdy and other reservation systems to oversee bookings, generate reports and ensure smooth communication between suppliers, guides and guests.
• Support sales initiatives, upselling opportunities and customer‑retention strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience with a tour operator, DMC, incoming agency or similar tourism provider.
• Hands‑on experience in tourism operations, reservations and customer service.
• Proven work with OTAs (GetYourGuide, Viator, Headout) and reservation platforms such as Rezdy.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and based in Florence or surrounding area with a valid Italian work permit.
• Availability to work full‑time on‑site, including weekends and public holidays.
