FX Sales Trader – Client Relationship & Market Execution

About the role

The FX Sales Trader role at Marex combines client relationship management with active foreign‑exchange market execution. You will work closely with institutional clients, providing tailored FX solutions while staying abreast of market movements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with FX clients, understanding their needs and delivering customised solutions.
• Monitor and analyse foreign‑exchange markets to provide timely insights and recommendations.
• Execute client FX trades accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Identify, assess and manage risks associated with trading activities.
• Proactively seek new business opportunities and expand the client base.
• Maintain detailed records of trading activity and produce regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, research and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in FX sales or corporate B2B sales.
• Fluent in Italian with strong English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in a commercial bank or FX brokerage, particularly dealing with SMEs, is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies and work effectively in a team environment.
