Global Controller

About the role

Panora, a fast‑growing international seed company, is seeking a Global Controller to join its Finance team at the headquarters in Fidenza, Italy. Reporting to the Deputy CFO, you will lead the Group’s financial planning, reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and reliable financial information across all subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reports.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts and prior year results, providing in‑depth analysis of trends, risks and opportunities.
• Review and analyse subsidiary financial statements, identify inconsistencies, and work with local teams to implement corrective actions.
• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles, consolidating inputs from all entities.
• Track key performance indicators such as revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, PAT, working capital and free cash flow.
• Partner with business units to evaluate initiatives, investments and operational decisions through financial modelling.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting tools and internal controls.
• Support special projects including acquisitions, system implementations and organizational changes.
