Global Events Financial Controller – Remote

About the role
We are seeking a precision‑driven Global Events Financial Controller to act as the fiscal engine for Tether’s Global Events department. Working 100 % remotely, you will own the full financial lifecycle of international events, from vendor quotations through to final payments and annual budget reconciliation.
Key responsibilities
- Consolidate vendor quotations and ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Develop, monitor and report event budgets, providing real‑time financial visibility to the Events team.
- Manage contract signature processes and oversee invoicing and payment workflows.
- Perform multi‑currency and multi‑company reconciliations.
- Prepare post‑event financial reports and analyses.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the events, travel or hospitality sector.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent English communication skills.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
