Global Logistics Manager

About the role

The Global Logistics Manager leads worldwide logistics and trade‑compliance activities for an agrochemical company. Based in Yuma, AZ, the role works across manufacturing, regulatory, stewardship, EHS and commercial teams to ensure safe, on‑time delivery of crop protection products, seeds and related intermediates.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement global logistics strategies for hazardous and temperature‑regulated agrochemical products, ensuring compliance with ADR, IMDG, IATA and regional regulations.
• Oversee emergency logistics, incident management for spills, damages or regulatory delays.
• Manage global 3PLs, freight forwarders, customs brokers and warehouse partners to optimize service reliability and cost.
• Benchmark logistics costs and performance, drive continuous improvement and manage the aggregate logistics budget.
• Create and monitor standardized performance metrics for finished‑goods delivery.
• Mentor local logistics teams, provide training opportunities and support career growth.
• Collaborate with IT to streamline logistics systems, oversee master data consistency and lead digitalisation initiatives for visibility and performance.
• Develop and execute a global logistics strategy covering assets, warehousing and the balance between internal and outsourced logistics.
• Partner with Global Supply Chain to optimise inventory flows for seasonal peaks, planting schedules and product launches.
