Global Purchasing Specialist – International Career Development Program

Key responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and procurement projects across multiple regions.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop a global supplier base.
• Lead RFQ processes, supplier assessments, and commercial negotiations.
• Drive cost‑optimization and value‑improvement initiatives.
• Monitor supply markets, supplier performance, and sourcing risks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams on new product introductions and operational excellence.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects with direct exposure to international leadership.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing sites through regular international travel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management.
• Experience in structured industrial environments such as automotive, manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
• Willingness to work in an international, multicultural setting and consider future overseas assignments.
