Global Sourcing Manager

About the role

The Global Sourcing Manager leads a remote team that identifies, evaluates, and negotiates with suppliers for our resale product categories. This position owns the end‑to‑end sourcing process, building strong supplier relationships while driving cost savings, quality improvements, and supply‑chain resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global and category sourcing strategies balancing cost, quality, lead time, and risk.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service‑level agreements.
• Manage supplier performance through business reviews and continuous‑improvement plans.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, finance, legal, and product teams to align sourcing with business needs.
• Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply‑chain risk.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives without compromising quality or delivery.
• Maintain accurate contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier records in the ERP system.
• Resolve supplier disputes, quality issues, and delivery delays, communicating status proactively.
• Work with transportation and logistics to optimise inbound supply chains and manage landed cost, including freight and duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• At least 6 years of purchasing or inventory‑control experience in a sales/distribution environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of inventory management, procurement processes, and transportation/logistics.
• Strong analytical rigor and excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
