Global Supply Planner

About the role

The Global Supply Planner will join BASF’s Agricultural Solutions team in Parma, Idaho, supporting the Nunhems vegetable seed business. Working in a hybrid setting, you will ensure short‑term availability of seed inventory, drive mid‑ to long‑term supply reliability, and coach regional planners.

Key responsibilities

• Support tactical S&OP processes by preparing and analysing production and demand data.
• Execute stock seed planning to meet production and processing requirements.
• Drive seed movement between production sites and processing facilities to maintain availability.
• Own operational S&OP for regional and global availability, conducting monthly follow‑ups.
• Chair the Operational Supply Review Meeting covering global availability, financial impacts, and safety‑stock allocation.
• Manage global inventory in line with supply‑chain policies, including country‑of‑origin and phytosanitary rules.
• Set and prioritize global seed‑supply and processing objectives.
• Monitor Global Trial Flow execution to meet lead‑time targets.
• Collaborate closely with Regional Supply Planners and handle administrative tasks for drop‑shipments and processing purchase orders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agronomy or a related field (master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory management or related supply‑chain roles.
• Proven ability to communicate proactively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
