Graduate Software Developer/Engineer – 3‑Year Development Program

About the role

Join ION’s three‑year Graduate Development Program as a Software Developer/Engineer. You will work on live FinTech projects from day one, gaining full‑stack experience in an agile environment while being mentored by senior professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of ION’s trading and workflow automation products.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact features.
• Translate complex technical problems into scalable, efficient solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery.

Required profile

• Master's degree in a STEM discipline obtained within the last year or currently in progress.
• Strong academic record and fluency in English (minimum B2).
• Based in Italy or willing to relocate; non‑EU candidates must hold a valid EU work permit.
• Applicants on the Italian disability register will be given priority.

Required skills

• Programming experience in at least one of the following: Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, Typescript, Python.
