Group Accounting Expert

About the role

Join Dr. Schär’s global finance team as a Group Accounting Expert. You will support month‑end closing, contribute to group‑wide financial reporting, and help standardise accounting processes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month‑end closing and consolidation of group financial statements.
• Maintain the general ledger, including fixed assets, accounts receivable and payable, while identifying improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with Italian Accounting Standards and support updates to the Accounting Manual.
• Drive process standardisation and support the implementation of consistent accounting practices across the group.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of professional experience in accounting and auditing.
• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and solid knowledge of Italian Accounting Standards.
• Good written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with consolidation tools (preferred).
