Guest Services Agent – W Sardinia

About the role

We are looking for a Guest Services Agent to join our team at W Sardinia, a luxury resort in Porto Cervo. In this full‑time position you will be the first point of contact for guests calling the hotel, ensuring their requests are handled promptly and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Answer, record, log and process all guest calls, including wake‑up calls, screening, do‑not‑disturb, call forwarding and conference calls.
• Operate the telephone switchboard, monitor busy or unanswered lines and provide accurate messages to guests.
• Activate or deactivate guest room message lights and assist guests with internet access, escalating technical issues when needed.
• Test communications equipment to confirm proper operation.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve guest requests or problems and follow up to confirm satisfaction.
• Dispatch bell or valet staff as required and adhere to all hotel policies, safety procedures and uniform standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No prior experience required; ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Physical ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional appearance and strong commitment to confidentiality and guest service.

Required skills

• Telephone switchboard operation.
• Computer usage and basic POS system operation.
• Basic internet troubleshooting.
