About the role
CHORA, a Switzerland‑based ecosystem operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence, digital transformation and consulting, is seeking a Head of Business Development. The role will coordinate outbound activities, manage active opportunities and drive new‑client acquisition across the ecosystem’s portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Manage active leads, prospects and commercial opportunities.
- Drive follow‑ups and progress opportunities through the pipeline.
- Support proposal development and commercial negotiations.
- Recover stalled or inactive opportunities.
- Coordinate and supervise Business Development Representative (BDR) activities.
- Ensure consistency and quality across outbound initiatives.
- Improve lead qualification and follow‑up processes.
- Monitor commercial execution and accountability.
- Maintain CRM visibility and pipeline organisation.
- Support reporting and pipeline management activities.
- Contribute to improving funnel efficiency and commercial workflows.
Required profile
- Proven experience in B2B business development, sales or commercial growth roles.
- Strong execution mindset with hands‑on deal management capabilities.
- Experience coordinating outbound or BDR activities.
- Ability to manage consultative, relationship‑driven sales processes.
- Strong organisational and follow‑up discipline.
- Comfort operating in lean, fast‑moving, high‑accountability environments.
- Fluency in English and Italian (German is a strong plus).
- Experience in AI, SaaS, consulting, digital services or enterprise solutions is a plus.
- Experience working with international clients and cross‑border opportunities is a plus.
