Head of Finance (CFO) – Fintech Payments

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Head of Finance to lead the financial function of a fast‑growing fintech payments company. You will own the full spectrum of financial reporting, audit coordination, tax planning and process automation across our multi‑entity holding structure.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements for all entities.
• Oversee financial and management accounting in line with Cyprus law and IFRS.
• Coordinate the annual audit with external auditors in Cyprus.
• Drive implementation and migration to a new accounting/reporting system, automating key processes.
• Lead tax planning aligned with corporate strategy and local regulations.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, financial policies and procedures.
• Supervise local finance teams to ensure data consistency and quality.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance or accounting experience in fintech, payments or high‑transaction environments.
• Deep knowledge of Cyprus accounting, tax and regulatory frameworks.
• Track record of audit coordination and financial systems implementation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, able to present to the Board.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA or equivalent is a plus.
• Fluency in Russian and English.
