Head of Operations – Italy Logistics

About the role

As Head of Operations for the Italian business, you will own the end‑to‑end operational performance of a leading logistics organisation. You will lead planning, fleet, workshop and support functions while strengthening the company’s structure, performance culture and readiness for further growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, fleet management, workshop operations and related support activities across Italy.
• Align the Italian organisation with European Group operational standards and growth ambitions.
• Translate Group priorities into clear local actions, focusing on efficiency, accountability, cost control and service performance.
• Drive integration initiatives, including digitalisation, process improvement and change programmes.
• Collaborate closely with local leadership and European Group executives.

Required profile

• Senior operations leader with proven experience in transport or logistics.
• Strategic judgement combined with a hands‑on leadership style.
• Ability to improve organisational structure, clarify responsibilities and implement performance management while maintaining team trust.
• Comfort operating within an international group, balancing local needs with broader European standards.
• Fluency in Italian and English or French.
