Home Nurse – High Complexity Care (Ostia and Marconi)

About the role

Medicasa Italia, a group company founded in 1993 specialising in home assistance services, is recruiting a home nurse for the Ostia and Marconi area. The role covers general nursing care of high complexity, including preventive, curative, palliative and rehabilitative care, delivered with technical, relational and educational approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care and health education to patients, supporting them in taking part in therapeutic decisions
• Carry out specific nursing interventions that are autonomous and complementary, according to the care plan
• Adapt care to age, gender, health conditions and physical or mental fragility, and to religious, ethnic and linguistic needs
• Give therapeutic education to patients and caregivers
• Follow international guidelines and Medicasa procedures, and use and store equipment correctly at home
• Plan care objectives, monitor clinical outcomes and keep electronic medical records and administrative documentation
• Take part in team meetings run from the operations centre and in periodic health reports

Required profile

• Valid BLS certification
• Flexible availability, including irregular hours
• Physical fitness for the job and able to drive
• Willingness to travel within the region
• Documented experience in home care and with paediatric patients

Required skills

• Knowledge of computers and main application software
• Ability to work with patients of different backgrounds
