Host/Hostess – Seasonal Position at Luxury Lake Como Hotel

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Hosts and Hostesses to join our front‑of‑house team for the 2026 season at a luxury lakeside hotel in Como. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience in our upscale dining venues.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to clean, prepared tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, napkins, silverware and ensure each setting meets our standards.
• Arrange seating for groups with special needs and manage table turnover efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout service, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for safety, service flow and guest well‑being.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and provide accurate information.
• Adhere to company policies, safety protocols and uniform standards.
• Support team members and report any incidents or unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.
• Willingness to follow safety and hygiene standards.

What we offer

• Gross annual salary €22,414 – €23,000 (pro‑rated for seasonal work).
• 13th and 14th month payments included.
