House Manager for Luxury Villa on Lake Como

About the role

We are seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a prestigious private villa on Lake Como, Italy. The position can be either live‑in or non‑live‑in and follows a full‑time, 5‑day work week.

Key responsibilities

• Take full operational responsibility for the villa and its estate.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of all household and estate staff, including mechanics, gardeners, and a resident couple.
• Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation.
• Ensure the property is impeccably prepared for the owners’ visits.
• Coordinate daily operations and services to guarantee smooth functioning when the owners are in residence.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a House Manager or Estate Manager in a luxury private residence.
• Strong organisational, leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse on‑site team.
• Fluent English and intermediate Italian.
