Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will be the primary HR contact for our Italian entity, overseeing the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, compliance, and off‑boarding. Reporting to the Regional HR Manager EMEA, you will work closely with site managers and staff in Baselga di Pinè to ensure HR practices align with group policies and Italian labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for corporate and field roles, including sourcing, interviewing, offer preparation and onboarding.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee queries, supporting managers with performance issues, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution in line with Italian law.
• Ensure compliance with Italian employment legislation and the agricultural sector collective bargaining agreement (CCNL), handling contracts, working time, leave and termination processes.
• Coordinate with external payroll provider and Finance to guarantee accurate payroll processing and administer local benefits.
• Drive the local rollout of performance reviews, goal‑setting and development planning, supporting succession discussions.
• Maintain and localise HR policies, employee handbooks and contract templates.
• Keep employee data up‑to‑date in the group HRIS and produce regular headcount, turnover and people‑metrics reports.
• Collaborate with site management and external safety consultants on health and safety obligations (D.Lgs. 81/2008).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labour Law, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of HR generalist experience in Italy, preferably within a small‑ to mid‑size company or an international subsidiary.
• Strong knowledge of Italian labour law and practical experience applying an agricultural sector CCNL.
• Fluent Italian (native or near‑native) and professional English communication skills.

Required skills
