HV Components Mechatronic Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated HV Components Mechatronic Engineer to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Reporting to the Head of Electric Drive and working closely with the E‑drive system coordinator, you will develop high‑voltage mechatronic components from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑voltage mechatronic components and systems, covering concept, 3D/2D modelling, supplier interaction and release phases.
• Ensure compliance with automotive and international HV standards, focusing on mechanical endurance and durability.
• Define and design specific HV mechanical parts such as bus bars, e‑motor resolvers, cooling systems, battery cell spacers, module plates and insulation systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to validate designs and support manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics or Automotive Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in HV system component design and development.
• Strong understanding of automotive standards for high‑voltage applications.
• Fluent English; knowledge of Italian or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CREO and CATIA parametric CAD platforms.
• Basic knowledge of structural analysis tools such as ANSYS (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes including casting, injection molding and welding.
