I&C Engineer – Control & Automation

About the role

As an I&C Engineer at Anaergia, you will lead the engineering activities that produce documentation for control and automation systems supporting waste‑to‑energy projects. You will ensure that all deliverables meet schedule, quality and cost requirements while collaborating closely with project managers, sales, and on‑site commissioning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Produce order documents for control and automation systems.
• Plan and monitor engineering tasks against the defined schedule.
• Coordinate suppliers, verify documentation accuracy, and oversee implementation.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for automation panels.
• Record engineering hours and costs, ensuring budget compliance.
• Define automation management standards and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Energy Engineering.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in automation system design.
• Strong knowledge of national and international regulations for waste, anaerobic digestion and water treatment plants.
• Fluent Italian and good English (reading, writing, speaking).
