Incoming Quality Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for an Incoming Quality Team Leader to join Bonfiglioli’s Forlì site. The role ensures that all incoming raw materials and components meet the company’s quality standards and technical specifications, supporting the production of gearmotors and drive systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain testing methodologies and measurement guidelines for raw materials and production batches.
• Conduct first‑article inspections, PPAP approvals, and dimensional reporting for purchased parts.
• Manage ongoing series inspections and verify compliance with group quality standards.
• Lead root‑cause analysis of supplier issues, define corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
• Oversee containment activities for non‑conforming components supplied by vendors.
• Standardise analytical procedures to reduce measurement bias and improve data integrity.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality roles within metalworking or manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating teams.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and good command of English.
