About the role

The primary school teacher is responsible for designing, organizing and delivering educational activities that support the cognitive, emotional, relational and social development of students. The role works closely with the teaching team, families and other educational professionals to ensure an inclusive, stimulating and safe learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver primary‑level lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school guidelines.
• Assess student learning using appropriate tools and methodologies, providing feedback to pupils and families.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects individual differences and promotes social and emotional development.
• Prepare teaching materials, integrate innovative methods and digital tools, and collaborate with colleagues on educational planning.

Required profile

• Degree in Primary Education Sciences or equivalent teaching qualification (diploma obtained by 2001).
• Strong knowledge of primary‑school teaching methodologies and the national education regulations.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and ability to work with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Design and implementation of educational projects and curricula.
• Use of digital technologies and e‑learning platforms for classroom instruction.
• Student assessment and data‑driven evaluation techniques.
