Installation Supervisor Trainee – Italy

About the role

Calderys is seeking a motivated Installation Supervisor Trainee for its Italy branch in Fiorano. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in industrial construction and refractory installations, allowing you to work alongside seasoned supervisors while developing the skills needed for a professional site‑supervision career.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in supervisor training across multiple European sites.
• Assist in customer projects as an installer to learn installation methods.
• Support project planning by contributing to risk assessments, material lists, and calculations.
• Create purchase orders, coordinate freight, and ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Communicate progress with customers and coordinate daily work on‑site.
• Lead installation tasks, assign work to installers, and maintain daily work logs.
• Manage installer timesheets, submit payroll data, and prepare deviation reports when needed.
• Handle returns and final documentation at project close‑out.
• Enforce Calderys safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Basic technical education (vocational qualification in construction, mechanical engineering, bricklaying, joinery or carpentry).
• Willingness to learn and develop supervisory skills in a hands‑on environment.
• Ability to work on‑site in Fiorano and travel to other European sites as required.
• Commitment to completing both client and Calderys safety and work‑environment trainings.
