Integrated Accounting and Compliance Analyst

About the role

Barilla is seeking an Integrated Accounting and Compliance Analyst to join its Integrated Accounting unit in Parma. The role supports month‑end closing, trial‑balance production and ensures compliance with legal and fiscal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and release the monthly trial balance for all legal entities in the EASSC cluster, ensuring compliance with local and Barilla GAAP.
• Perform general‑ledger entries, reconciliations and month‑end closing activities to meet closing milestones and data quality standards.
• Execute tax control framework procedures across accounting processes and support standardisation projects.
• Collaborate with local stakeholders to meet service‑level agreements and respond to auditor and tax department inquiries.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting environment.
• Fluent in Italian and English with strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
