Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Audit Specialist to join Intercos, a leading global cosmetics group. The role will support the Global Internal Audit function by evaluating controls across the parent company and its subsidiaries worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audit projects, including operational, compliance and risk‑based audits, for Intercos S.p.A. and its international subsidiaries.
• Perform testing procedures such as walkthroughs, control design evaluations and effectiveness assessments under the guidance of the Global Internal Audit Manager.
• Prepare audit reports, presentations for top management and governance bodies, and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, HR, IT and other stakeholders to facilitate audit engagements and promote a strong control environment.
• Travel worldwide as required to conduct on‑site audits and verify implementation of remediation measures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal audit, external assurance or a similar role.
• Fluency in English and strong analytical mindset.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with audit‑related IT tools; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Understanding of IFRS reporting standards.
