Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Audit Specialist to join our multicultural, technology‑driven Internal Audit team. The role involves evaluating and strengthening the Group’s internal control system while ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned audit activities and assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Implement and execute the audit program, performing data checks and document analyses to verify process efficiency.
• Prepare audit reports that highlight findings, improvement opportunities, and recommended corrective actions.
• Advise management on enhancements and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of agreed actions.
• Support cross‑functional projects such as process improvements and procedure updates.
• Promote an ethics‑based culture throughout the organization.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of internal audit methodologies and procedures.
• Ability to analyse processes and identify improvements.
• Strong reporting skills with clear audit documentation.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional German or Spanish is a plus.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and standards, e.g., Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001.
