International Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an International Financial Controller to support the Group CFO in steering financial performance across a multinational industrial group. The role combines strategic budgeting, reporting and profitability analysis with hands‑on involvement in M&A integration and cash‑pooling activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor variances and ensure alignment with group targets.
• Prepare monthly management reports and consolidate financial statements for international subsidiaries.
• Analyse sales, margins and product profitability, and support cost‑assessment and EBITDA adjustments.
• Develop and continuously improve group controlling procedures and reporting tools.
• Participate in financial due‑diligence, acquisition integration and other M&A projects.
• Coordinate cash‑pooling, group financing and ensure compliance with local and group accounting regulations.
• Collaborate with accounting teams and subsidiaries to guarantee timely and accurate financial data flows.
• Travel internationally, including intercontinental trips, as required by key projects.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in controlling or finance within an international, industrial environment.
• Hands‑on experience with due‑diligence, acquisitions and business integration.
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages such as German or Spanish are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, management control systems and financial statements.
