Internship – GMP Department (CMC Production, QC & QA)

About the role

Philogen S.p.A., a Swiss-Italian integrated biotechnology company developing biopharmaceuticals for cancer and inflammatory diseases, offers six-month internships to recent graduates in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or related fields. The internships are based in the GMP department in Sovicille / Siena, covering CMC Production, Quality Control and CMC Quality Assurance.

Key responsibilities

• CMC Production: support day-to-day manufacturing, prepare and manage production documentation, learn GMP procedures and standards, and help with process monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Quality Control: support analytical and laboratory testing, manage samples, records and documentation, and contribute to routine laboratory operations and quality monitoring.
• CMC Quality Assurance: support the management and review of GMP documentation, assist in quality assurance and compliance monitoring, and learn quality management systems and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong interest in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills and good teamwork.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Motivation to develop technical skills and knowledge of GMP standards.
