IT Service Desk Technician – Global Support

About the role

As an IT Service Desk Technician you will provide first‑level technical support to colleagues across all Dr. Schär Group locations. You will help users with devices, accounts and key applications, ensuring smooth daily operations in a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Classify, prioritize and resolve user requests using the IT Service Management tool, escalating when necessary.
• Configure, maintain and support client devices, peripherals, laptops and desktops.
• Set up new workplaces and assist with onboarding of equipment.
• Collaborate on IT projects and maintain internal documentation and knowledge base.
• Occasionally travel to company sites as required.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Android and iOS devices.
• Familiarity with PC hardware and software architecture.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user administration.
• Independent, solution‑oriented approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and very good proficiency in Italian or German.
