IT Technical Trainer

About the role

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team is looking for an IT Technical Trainer to design, deliver and evaluate technical training for datacenter staff in Milan. You will work on‑site in a datacenter environment, helping employees adopt the latest cloud technologies and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Align learning programs with measurable metrics such as cloud consumption and learner feedback.
• Develop and deliver single‑day to multi‑day training sessions, both in‑person and virtually, using presentations, labs, simulations and digitally‑enhanced instructor‑led resources.
• Maintain up‑to‑date content on new features, technologies and processes across Microsoft’s cloud portfolio.
• Conduct workforce training needs analysis and support procedural change‑management activities.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and produce reports for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong background in adult learning principles and technical training delivery.
• Experience working in or supporting datacenter environments.
• Ability to coach learners and facilitate career growth.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
