Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our finance team in managing accounting and tax processes for a global waste‑to‑value innovator. The role will involve handling day‑to‑day bookkeeping, tax documentation and payment management while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Control and file administrative, accounting, corporate and project‑related documents.
• Manage the active and passive accounting cycles.
• Perform bank accounting and reconcile statements.
• Register VAT tax documentation as required by the Revenue Agency.
• Handle receipts, payments and monitor tax deadlines.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in economics, accounting or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong command of English.
• Team‑oriented with effective communication across business functions.
• Detail‑oriented mindset and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced).
