Junior Accountant – Rome

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join Soho House in Rome. You will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day accounting operations within our hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general accounting tasks and routine administrative duties.
• Issue and record customer invoices on a daily basis.
• Receive, verify and record supplier invoices.
• Prepare journal entries, process payments, and handle bank reconciliations.
• Maintain cash‑flow forecasts and oversee cash management.
• Keep administrative records organized and up‑to‑date.
• Validate cost recharges, direct costs and overhead allocations.
• Extract data from accounting and operational systems for reporting.
• Handle correspondence and email communications related to finance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting or a degree in Economics.
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within an international hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent English with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Team System accounting software (preferred).
