Junior Auditor – Palermo/Catania

About the role

As a Junior Auditor at PwC in Palermo (covering Catania), you will join the Assurance line of service, supporting audit engagements for a variety of clients. You will work under the guidance of senior staff to obtain reasonable assurance that financial statements are free from material misstatement and to help deliver high‑quality audit reports.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures on financial statements, testing controls and substantive balances.
• Document audit workpapers in accordance with PwC methodology and professional standards.
• Assist in evaluating compliance with regulations and internal governance frameworks.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior team members and clients.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical audit skills.
