Junior Commodity Manager

About the role

Vertiv is seeking a motivated and curious Junior Commodity Manager to join its Procurement team in Piove di Sacco, Italy. The position offers recent graduates the chance to develop strong skills in sourcing, supplier management, and cost analysis while working for a global technology leader with $6.9 billion in sales and operations in nearly 70 countries. You will support the development of commodity strategies and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive value for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Support development of commodity strategies.
• Conduct basic market research and cost benchmarking.
• Assist in supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance.
• Prepare analyses and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Team‑oriented with good communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and interest in procurement.
• Fluent in English.
