Junior Controller Internship

About the role

Join the Finance – Planning & Control (FP&A) team at Marionnaud and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced beauty retail environment. You will support business decisions by monitoring store performance and contributing to financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse financial and operational performance of stores and the retail network.
• Support monthly closing and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Consolidate data from multiple systems to generate business insights.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Perform variance analysis (actual vs budget vs forecast) and identify key drivers.
• Partner with Finance, Retail and Operations teams to support performance‑improvement actions.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and business‑planning processes.

Required profile

• Graduate in Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proactive attitude, curiosity and genuine interest in the retail and beauty industry.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Good knowledge of PowerPoint
• Basic accounting concepts
• Fundamental financial reporting skills
