Junior Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Controller to join our finance team at PowerTrench Group. The role supports the preparation and analysis of management reports, budgeting and forecasting, and contributes to the digitalisation of controlling processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodic management reports, including P&L, variance analysis, KPI reporting and presentations for senior management.
• Analyse financial data, identify trends and criticalities, and suggest corrective actions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and month‑end closing activities, ensuring data consistency and reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and automation tools using data extracted from ERP systems.
• Extract, cleanse and transform data from ERP and other sources while guaranteeing data quality and traceability.
• Create user‑friendly reporting tools with advanced Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot or Power BI.
• Assist in the digital transformation of controlling processes and the adoption of data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, audit or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of management accounting concepts such as margins, fixed and variable costs, cost centres and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, closing and management reporting processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Excellent analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to communicate financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
