Junior Designer – Men’s Shoes

About the role

Gucci is seeking a Junior Designer to support the creation of its Men’s shoe collections. Working under senior designers, you will contribute to the creative process, ensure alignment with the brand’s aesthetic, and help bring seasonal concepts to life.

Key responsibilities

• Research fashion trends, materials and innovations in footwear.
• Assist in developing mood boards, sketches, renderings and technical drawings.
• Update existing designs based on feedback and material choices.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandising and other design teams to ensure collection coherence.
• Participate in fittings, prototype reviews and sample adjustments.
• Prepare design materials, boards and presentations for collection reviews and fashion shows.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in footwear or accessories design.
• Degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design or a related field.
• Good knowledge of footwear construction and materials (a plus).
• Fluency in English; Italian is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong sketching and illustration abilities.
• Familiarity with design tools used for footwear development.
